One of my New Year’s resolutions was to take more chances. With that in mind, I recently loaded up my car and took the lonely 4.5 hour trip to visit my friends in Knoxville, TN. Why is this taking a chance? Well personally, I do not like driving long distances by myself. But, with my friends from the Disney College Program on the other end, how could I not make the drive?

By far the most photographable outing of the weekend was our trip to the Sunsphere, which is basically a giant gold ball on top of a stick in the middle of downtown. After doing some Googling, I learned that the Sunsphere was constructed for the 1982 World’s Fair, and it is now free for the public to visit. And the windows’ gold look? It’s actual 24 karat gold!
After coming down from the observation deck, we did some wandering around World’s Fair Park. And of course we couldn’t leave without taking a few goofy photos!
